Eddy current paint thickness Gauge

The eddy current paint thickness gauge utilizes a probe to generate a high-frequency magnetic field, which induces eddy currents on the surface of the metal substrate. It calculates the coating thickness by measuring changes in the eddy current intensity. This device is used for detecting non-conductive coatings such as paint and plastic on metal surfaces. It is suitable for rapid on-site measurements in industries such as automotive, shipbuilding, and steel structures.
Selection
When selecting, consider the substrate type and curvature, the coating thickness range, and measurement accuracy requirements. Check the instrument calibration method and the configuration of standard samples, paying attention to the compatibility of the probe size with the measurement scenario. Confirm temperature adaptability and data storage capabilities, and evaluate power endurance and protection rating.
