Frame Coating Applicator

The frame-type film applicator controls the coating thickness on the substrate through a metal frame and uses a blade to push the coating to form a uniform wet film. It is used in laboratories to simulate the coating process, test the leveling, hiding power, and other properties of coatings, and is suitable for quality control in industries such as inks and paper.
Selection
When selecting, consider matching the substrate size with the width of the applicator. Determine the gap thickness based on the viscosity of the coating material. Stainless steel material is corrosion-resistant. Maintain a uniform speed during operation to ensure even film thickness. Pay attention to cleaning the groove to avoid residues that may affect accuracy.
