Paperboard Moisture Meter

The cardboard moisture meter detects the moisture content in cardboard by measuring changes in resistance or capacitance. The resistance-based method utilizes the conductive properties of moisture, while the capacitance-based method relies on differences in dielectric constant. It is used in cardboard production and storage processes to monitor moisture levels and prevent deformation or mold growth.
Selection
When selecting, consider a measurement range covering 5% to 25%, with an accuracy of ±0.5%. Contact-type instruments are suitable for flat surfaces, while non-contact types are ideal for high-speed production lines. Pay attention to compatibility with cardboard thickness and the availability of temperature compensation functionality. Regularly calibrate using standard calibration blocks.
