Rubber DuroMeter

A rubber durometer measures hardness by pressing an indenter into the rubber surface under standard pressure and converting the depth of penetration into a hardness value. It is used to assess the softness or hardness of rubber products and control quality in the production of tires and sealing rings.
Selection
When selecting, consider that the rubber thickness should be greater than 6 mm. Use a curved anvil for curved samples, the Shore A type for regular samples, and the D type for high-hardness samples. Maintain an ambient temperature of 23±2℃, and ensure the sample surface is flat and free of bubbles.
