Paint Leak Detector

The paint holiday detector generates an electric field through a high-voltage electrode. When the probe passes over coating defects, a discharge circuit is formed, and the instrument indicates discontinuous coating areas with audible and visual signals. It is used to detect defects such as pinholes and bubbles in anti-corrosion coatings on metal substrates, ensuring coating integrity.
Selection
When selecting, pay attention to the detection voltage range to ensure it matches the coating thickness, the flexible probe should be compatible with curved workpieces, the IP rating must meet the on-site environmental conditions, audible and visual alarms need to be clear and distinguishable, the host weight affects portability, and the battery life should meet the required detection duration.
