Ink Sample Drawdown Bar

The ink drawdown bar is used to create a uniform ink film by smoothly scraping a metal bar across paper, allowing for the observation of ink color, opacity, and leveling properties. It is applied in pre-press proofing and ink quality control.
Selection
When selecting, consider the rod material's need for corrosion resistance, the diameter corresponding to the ink film thickness requirements, the surface smoothness affecting the scraping effect, the length matching the width of the substrate, and the groove depth controlling the ink transfer.
