Water Suspended Solids Detector

The water quality suspended solids detector measures the concentration of insoluble particles in water using the light scattering method. When a light beam passes through a water sample, suspended particles scatter the light. The instrument detects the intensity of the scattered light and converts it into suspended solids content. It is used to monitor the turbidity of water bodies such as industrial wastewater and tap water, helping to control filtration effectiveness and discharge standards.
Selection
Select the instrument with the corresponding measurement range based on the particle size range in the water sample. Consider matching the chemical properties of the water sample with corrosion-resistant probe materials. Choose portable devices for field use and benchtop instruments for laboratory applications. Verify that the detection accuracy meets industry standards. Ensure that the data output interface is compatible with the existing recording system.
