HazeMeter

A haze meter measures the proportion of scattered light deviating from the incident direction in transmitted light by illuminating transparent or translucent materials with a light source. It is used to quantify the haze value and light transmittance of materials, and is applied in industries such as plastic films, glass, and coatings to assess the cloudiness and clarity of transparent materials.
Selection
When selecting a haze meter, consider that the measurement range should cover the haze values of the samples, comply with standards such as ASTM D1003, ensure the instrument's repeatability meets detection accuracy requirements, the sample stage size should accommodate the objects being tested, the operation interface should be simple and user-friendly, and regular calibration services should be guaranteed.
