Rod and Bar Coating Machine

The rod Coater evenly applies the coating onto the substrate surface using a uniformly rotating metal rod, forming a standard-thickness wet film. It is used in laboratories to simulate coating processes and evaluate properties such as the leveling and hiding power of coatings. It is suitable for preparing films on materials like inks, paper, plastic films, and more.
Selection
Select the mandrel diameter based on the substrate thickness, and determine the rod material by considering the coating viscosity. Match the sample dimensions to choose the workbench width, and select certified standard mandrels according to the test standard requirements. Pay attention to the flatness of the equipment and the straightness of the mandrels, and perform regular cleaning and maintenance using solvents.
