High Molecular Cone-Plate ViscoMeter

The polymer cone-plate viscometer measures the relationship between the resistance of polymer fluids and rotational speed by shearing samples in the narrow gap between a conical rotor and a fixed plate. It is used for detecting the viscoelastic properties of materials such as coatings and inks, enabling analysis of flow curves and thixotropy.
Selection
Select the rotor cone angle based on the viscosity range of the sample, taking temperature control requirements into account. Choose a model suitable for the shear rate of the material being tested, ensuring the rotor material is corrosion-resistant. Balance the sample volume with measurement accuracy.
