Manual Film Applicator

The manual film applicator controls the coating thickness by adjusting the blade gap, forming a uniform wet film on the substrate. It is used in laboratories to simulate the coating process, testing the leveling, hiding power, and other properties of coatings, and is suitable for quality control in ink and paper surface treatment.
Selection
When selecting, consider matching the substrate size to the coating width. Determine the gap range based on the sample viscosity. Stainless steel material offers corrosion resistance. The operation handle should be ergonomically designed. To verify coating uniformity, use a thickness measuring instrument. Regularly clean the scraper groove to prevent residue from affecting accuracy.
