    The pinhole tester detects insulation defects in coatings or films by applying voltage. When the electrode contacts the material surface, current passes through the pinholes, forming a circuit and triggering an alarm device. It is used to identify microscopic holes invisible to the naked eye, ensuring waterproof or insulation performance. Commonly applied in quality control for paint films and plastic films.
