Sling psychroMeter

The sling psychrometer operates on the principle that moisture evaporation from the wet-bulb wick absorbs heat, causing the wet-bulb temperature to be lower than the dry-bulb temperature. The difference between the two temperatures is inversely proportional to the air humidity. It is used for rapid on-site measurement of environmental humidity and is commonly employed for humidity monitoring in places such as warehouses and workshops.
Selection
When selecting, pay attention to the matching of the temperature range with the usage environment; bimetallic thermometers have a more durable structure. The gauze must be kept clean and moist, and the rotating mechanism should be flexible. For long-term outdoor use, choose rust-resistant materials, and regularly calibrate measurement results with a standard hygrometer.
