Bohlin Rotational RheoMeter

The Brookfield rotational viscometer generates shear by rotating a rotor within the sample, measuring the relationship between torque and rotational speed to reflect the viscoelastic properties of the material. It is used for viscosity testing of fluids such as coatings and inks, simulation of process conditions, and quality control.
Selection
When selecting, consider that the measurement range covers the viscosity of the sample, the temperature control system matches the process requirements, the rotor fixture accommodates the sample morphology, the software functionality supports data acquisition and analysis, and the maintenance costs align with the frequency of use.
