CODmn Analyzer

The CODmn analyzer employs the potassium permanganate oxidation method, which oxidizes organic matter in water samples under acidic heating conditions. The oxygen consumption value is calculated by measuring the remaining potassium permanganate through titration or colorimetry. It is used to detect the degree of organic pollution in water bodies and is suitable for monitoring drinking water, surface water, and industrial wastewater.
Selection
When selecting, pay attention to the detection range to ensure it matches the sample concentration, and consider the differences in applicable water quality between acidic and alkaline methods. Consider the precision of heating digestion and temperature uniformity, as well as the stability of titration devices or the accuracy of colorimetric systems. Check whether it complies with industry standard methods, the maintenance cycle and consumable costs, the convenience of the operation interface, and the data output functionality.
