Handheld Rubber Hardness Tester

The handheld rubber durometer measures the hardness value by converting the depth of penetration of the indenter into the material surface under spring pressure. It is used for rapid on-site testing of the softness or hardness of materials such as rubber and elastomers, as well as for monitoring product consistency in the production of tires and seals.
Selection
When selecting, consider materials with a thickness greater than 6 mm. Choose the Shore A type (for general elastomers) or D type (for rigid plastics) based on the type of rubber. Calibrate using standard hardness blocks, maintain an ambient temperature of 23 ± 2℃, ensure the presser foot makes flat contact with the surface being tested, and record the result after the reading stabilizes.
