High-temperature pH Meter

High-temperature pH meters use special glass electrodes and reference systems to measure the acidity and alkalinity of liquids in environments above 150℃. The principle involves the electrode generating a potential difference related to hydrogen ion concentration, with temperature compensation applied to correct the readings. They are used for pH monitoring of high-temperature media such as boiler water, chemical reaction vessels, and geothermal fluids.
Selection
When selecting, ensure that the temperature range of the medium being measured matches the instrument's nominal specifications. Pay attention to the electrode material's resistance to high-temperature corrosion, and ensure the reference system possesses anti-high-temperature diffusion characteristics. Consider whether the sensor structure is suitable for the pressure environment, and ensure the accompanying cables are insulated and resistant to high temperatures. Use calibration solutions specifically formulated for high-temperature applications.
