Overview
BZY series automatic liquid meter/interfacial tension meter is a laboratory instrument that uses physical methods instead of chemical methods to determine liquid meter/interfacial tension, which can quickly and accurately test the tension value of various liquid-gas surfaces and liquid-liquid interfaces. The instrument adopts a professional electromagnetic force closed-loop force value measurement system and a single-chip microprocessor control. It has the characteristics of automatic measurement, simple operation, excellent performance, High Accuracy, High Stability, High Repeatability and High Linearity of test results. It is widely used in petroleum, chemical, printing, Spinning & weaving, electric power and other industries.

Principle
The BZY series automatic meter/interfacial tension meter adopts a professional electromagnetic force closed-loop force value measurement system, which is based on the basic principle of Wilhelmy platinum plate method and is controlled by a single-chip microprocessor to realize automatic measurement. The instrument calculates the surface tension or interfacial tension value by measuring the force value of the liquid surface or interface acting on the platinum plate (or platinum ring).

Steps
1. Instrument preparation: connect the power supply, turn it on and warm up
2. Sample preparation: Place the liquid to be tested in the sample container
3. Instrument clearing: one-click clearing within the range of 0-400mN
4. Instrument correction: One-click correction using the standard weight included with the random
5. Sample test: immerse platinum plate (or platinum ring) in liquid, automatic measurement
6. Data reading: The instrument automatically reads and displays the surface tension equilibrating value
7. Data processing: Connect to the computer through the RS232C interface, and use standard software for Data analysis
Notice
• Please read the Operation Manual carefully before use
• Power supply voltage AC220V +/- 10%
• Platinum plates should be cleaned in time after use to avoid contamination
• Wait for the equilibrate value to be automatically read when measuring high viscosity samples
• Make sure that the two liquids do not dissolve when performing interfacial tension measurement
• Temperature range controlled at 0-110 ℃ when using thermostatic device
• Regular instrument calibration using standard weights
• Avoid use in humid, vibrating or strong electromagnetic interference environments
