Overview
The DV-1C rotational viscometer is designed and manufactured according to the requirements of T0625 in the transportation industry standard JTJ052 "Highway Engineering Asphalt and Asphalt Mixture Test Regulations". It is an upgraded product of the DV-1C and NDJ-1B rotational viscometer. It is suitable for the measurement of absolute viscosity of Newtonian liquids and apparent viscosity of non-Newtonian liquids. The instrument adopts professional mechanical design technology and manufacturing process, uses microcomputer technology for temperature control, data collection and data processing, and is equipped with a high-luminance LCD display screen and a micro-needle printer. The test results can be displayed or printed out in real time, and can be connected to a personal computer through the RS232 data communication port.
Features
1. Adopt high-luminance LCD display, easy to operate.
2. Comprehensive display information, including viscosity (mPa. S, Pa. S),% torque, speed/rotor, shear rate/shear stress range.
3. Measurement accuracy is high, +/- 1.0% of Measurement range.
4. Optional RS-232 communication interface to connect PC and viscosity host computer software, can automatically generate viscosity - Linear dispersion.
5. A variety of optional accessories are available, including heating furnace (operating temperature < 250 ° C), external circulation 20ML small sample adapter (operating temperature < 120 ° C), Viscometer special Thermostatic bath (such as DC-0506W, DC-130B, CH-1006, etc.) and a micro printer that can directly print the results.
Principle
The instrument is a Brinell rotational viscometer and its working principle is based on the swirl/spin viscosity measurement method. The instrument drives the rotor to swirl/spin in the sample. The viscosity value of the liquid is calculated according to the rheological characteristics of the fluid by measuring the torque or resistance required to maintain a specific speed. The microcomputer system controls the temperature, speed and processes the collected data throughout the test process to obtain the absolute viscosity or apparent viscosity.
Applications
Asphalt, hot-melt adhesive, paraffin, polymer
Steps
1. Select the appropriate rotor and speed according to the measurement requirements.
2. Prepare the sample and load it into the cartridge (volume 20ml).
3. Set instrument parameters such as temperature (range RT +~ 200 ° C) and Measurement mode (manual or automatic).
4. Start the measurement, the instrument will automatically control the temperature and data collection.
5. After the measurement is completed, the viscosity value and other information will be displayed on the LCD display.
6. The results can be printed directly through a micro-printer, or the data can be transferred to a computer through an RS-232 interface for further processing.
Notice
• The instrument should be used under the allowable working environment (temperature 5 ℃~ 35 ℃, relative humidity ≤ 80%).
• Power supply voltage must meet the requirements of AC 220V +/- 10%, 50Hz.
• When using Optional accessories such as heating furnace, please pay attention to the temperature limit indicated (e.g. heating furnace < 250 ° C, small sample adapter < 120 ° C).
• Before measurement, make sure that the selected rotor, speed and sample volume are suitable for the viscosity range of the tested sample (100~ 200000mPa · s).
• Keep the instrument and rotor clean to ensure the accuracy of measurement results.
