The rotational viscometer determines the viscosity of the liquid by driving the rotor to swirl/spin in the sample and measuring the Tack resistance to the rotor. For newtonian fluids, absolute viscosity is measured; for non-newtonian fluids, apparent viscosity is measured. The instrument displays parameters and Linedispersion visually on the touch screen through the built-in program Automatic calibration and calculation, combined with real-time Sensor data.

1. Place the instrument on a stable table and adjust it to a horizontal state through the front level. 2. According to the estimated viscosity of the sample, select the appropriate rotor and speed combination through the automatic scanning function of the instrument or manually. 3. Install the selected rotor and inject the sample into the sample cup to the specified scale (capacity about 15-25ml). 4. Select or create a test program on the touchscreen and set measurement parameters (such as timing, temperature probe connection, etc.). 5. Lower the rotor to immerse the sample to the specified mark. 6. Start the measurement, the instrument will automatically run and display viscosity, temperature, Linear dispersion and other data in real time. 7. After the measurement is completed, the data can be saved (up to 30 groups), or the printer output data can be connected with Linear dispersion through the print interface. 8. Raise the rotor and clean the rotor and sample cup.
Make sure that the instrument has been adjusted to level before use to ensure measurement accuracy. • Choose the rotor and rotational speed combination correctly according to the sample characteristics (e.g. estimated viscosity, whether it is newtonian fluid). • The amount of injected sample must meet the regulations to ensure that the rotor immersion depth is correct. • Avoid vibration or interference in the measurement process. • Be careful when cleaning the rotor and sample cup to avoid damaging the rotor or affecting its accuracy. • For accurate temperature control measurement, please select and use the corresponding thermostatic accessories (such as constant temperature bath, thermostatic cup). • When saving data, note that the upper limit of instrument storage is 30 sets.
