The Viscometer works on the principle of swirl/spin viscosity measurement. The instrument drives the rotor at a constant speed swirl/spin in the sample, and the rotor is subjected to the torque formed by the sample Tack resistance. The dynamic viscosity of the sample can be calculated by measuring the torque required to maintain the uniform swirl/spin of the rotor, and based on the parameters calibrated inside the instrument. The high temperature thermostatic system ensures that the sample remains molten at the set temperature for measurement.

1. Prepare the sample to ensure it is in a moldable state. 2. Choose the appropriate rotor and speed according to the estimated viscosity. 3. Add the sample to the measurement vessel and install it in the Thermostatic bath of the instrument. 5. Start the heating and thermostatic program and wait for the sample temperature to reach the set value and stabilize. 6. Lower the rotor to immerse the sample to the specified depth. 7. Start the swirl/spin and measurement program, the instrument starts measurement and displays viscosity value and Linear dispersion in real time. 8. After the measurement is completed, lift the rotor, read and save the measurement result. 9. Clean rotors and measurement containers.
