Overview
The INESA WYA-2S digital Abbe refractometer is an instrument with a high-accuracy temperature sensor and an external thermostatic water bath interface, which can be configured to meet the measurement under different temperature conditions. The instrument consists of an eyepiece with a visual telescope component and a dispersion correction component. The interface is clear. The hard Glass prism has the advantages of anti-corrosion and scratch resistance. The condenser lighting component is movable and easy to adjust.
Features
1. Configurable thermostatic water bath
2. With RS232 interface, it can be connected to a PC.
3. Adopt visual aiming, LCD display, clear and clear
4, with external constant temperature water bath interface, to meet the measurement at different temperatures
5. Observation components composed of visual telescope components and dispersion correction components, the interface display is very clear
6. No Consumption of Chemical Reagents, No Chemical Pollution
Principle
The WYA-2S digital Abbe refractometer works by measuring the refractive index of the solution. The refractive index has a corresponding relationship with the Brix value (Sucrose aqueous solution concentration). The Brix value represents the total soluble solids content in the solution, including salts, proteins, etc., which can be measured by establishing the conversion relationship between the Brix value and the actual concentration of the sample.
Steps
1. Connect the power supply and external thermostatic water bath (if necessary)
2. Turn on the instrument power switch
3. Adjust the position of the concentrated lighting components through the adjustment knob
4. Use the eyepiece to observe and aim the sample
5. Read the refractive index or Brix value data on the LCD screen
6. Data can be transferred through the RS232 interface to a PC
Notice
• The power requirements are 220V~ 240V, Frequency 50Hz +/- 1Hz
• Make sure the instrument is placed on a stable platform before use
• Be careful to avoid hard objects scratching the surface of the prism during operation
• When measuring different temperature samples, a thermostatic water bath is required
• Optical inspection components are cleaned regularly to maintain Measurement accuracy
