Overview
QIWEI Glass electrode is a special Electrode for industrial online pH meter, suitable for high temperature measurement environment of 0~ 80 ℃. The Electrode is divided into general type and with temperature compensation type. The general type needs manual temperature compensation. The type with temperature compensation can be automatically warmed and there are two more temperature compensation Probes on the Appearance. The product line length is 5 meters.
Features
1. Installation requires the use of Electrode mounting brackets or circulation cups, and cannot be directly placed in water.
2. Before installation, a waterproof seal should be made with a raw material tape at the 3/4 thread to prevent water from entering and causing a short circuit.
3. After connecting the online pH meter, it needs to be preheated for 30 minutes before calibrating.
4. Electrode should be placed vertically when calibrating, with Glass bulbs facing down to prevent data deviation.
Principle
Electrode through Glass bubble and liquid junction PH measurement, before use need to be immersed in 3.3M KCL solution to maintain activation, calibrate using two-point method, first with PH6.86 buffer positioning, and then with PH4.01 or PH9.18 buffer to determine the slope.
Steps
1. Loosen the protective bottle during measurement, pull out the Electrode, and use it after cleaning with deionized water or distillation water.
2. Check whether the Electrode connector is drying clean, if there are stains, scruf with anhydrous alcohol and blow dry.
3. Use the two-point method to calibrate: first calibrate the positioning with PH6.86 buffer, and then use PH4.01 or PH9.18 buffer to determine the slope.
4. Wash the Electrode after use, insert the protective bottle and tighten the cap.
Notice
• Electrode installation must use brackets or circulation cups, not directly into water.
• Do a waterproof seal before installation to prevent water from entering and causing a short circuit.
• Preheat for 30 minutes after connecting the pH meter and then calibrate.
• Electrode placed vertically when calibrating, Glass bulb facing down.
• Keep an appropriate amount of 3.3M KCL soaking solution in the protective bottle to soak the Electrode head.
• Check the drying of the joint before use, and treat it with anhydrous alcohol if necessary.
• Wash and store properly after use to prevent solution exudation.
• Glass bubble or liquid contact contamination, can be washed with surfactant, 10% muriatic acid or distillation water.
