Overview
Defelsko Positector6000 series imported Coating thickness gauge is a coating thickness measuring instrument widely used in various industries. This series of products adopts magnetic and eddy current thickness measurement principles, which are divided into advanced and standard types. Different models are provided for ferrous and non-ferrous metal substrates, which are simple, durable, accurate, multi-purpose and powerful.
Features
1. For most tests, there is no need to calibrate, Portable one-handed operation, equipped with two-color indicator light, can be clearly displayed in any environment.
2. Durable design, the host is resistant to solvents, oil, acid, water, dust, and is equipped with a belt buckle rubber sheath with shock absorption and protection; Probe has wear resistance.
3, accurate measurement, proved by NISI calibration, built-in temperature compensation, in line with a variety of international standards.
4. Wide range of uses, freely interchangeable Probe, good compatibility; support backlight display and inverted display; provide zero, one, two point three calibrating methods.
5. Powerful, can measure and display Standard Deviation, maximum and minimum Film thickness, reading times, display and update average value, etc.; with audio and visual alarm functions; can connect to PC through USB, large-capacity storage of data, and automatically save the update time.
Principle
The Positector6000 series Coating thickness gauge uses magnetic Induction and eddy current measurement principles to automatically identify ferrous or non-ferrous metal substrate types and make accurate measurements.
Applications
Film thickness measurement for various coatings
Standards
ISO 2718/2360/2808, PrEN ISO 19840, ASTM B499/D1186/D1400/D7091/E376/G12, BS3900-C5, SSPC-PA2 and Miscellaneous
Steps
1. Select the appropriate Probe type according to the measurement requirements (such as universal close-fitting Probe, 90 ° Probe, 0 ° Probe, 45 ° micro Probe, 90 ° micro Probe, thick coating special Probe).
2. Place the thickness gauge Probe vertically on the surface of the coating to be tested.
3. Read the Film thickness measurement on the display screen.
4. Advanced instruments can connect computers and printers via USB or Bluetooth for data transmission, and use scan mode, SSPC/PA2 or PSPC90/10 functions for data analytics.
Notice
• Please select the appropriate instrument model or Probe according to the substrate type (ferrous F, non-ferrous N or all metal FN) before measurement.
• Ensure that the Probe is in good contact with the coated surface for accurate readings.
• Although the instrument host has a chemical-resistant and dust-proof design, it is still necessary to avoid long-term immersion or extreme environment use.
• There are differences between the advanced type and the standard type in display, storage capacity and advanced functions (such as Bluetooth, graphical display), please choose according to actual needs.
• The calibrating method includes zero, one and two point calibrating, please calibrate appropriately according to the measurement requirements.
