Overview
The LANDTEK WTM-1000 Transmittance meter is a detection instrument for the measurement of light transmitance of parallel surface samples. It is powered by a battery and is a Portable Transmittance meter integrated with the Probe and the host. The instrument has a Measurement range of 0~ 100% and a resolution of 0.1. It uses LED Illuminant for single or continuous measurement. It is compact in shape, firm in structure, easy to carry, and can output data through RS-232 data lines.

Principle
The LANDTEK WTM-1000 Transmittance meter uses LED Illuminant to illuminate the measured sample, and calculates the light transmitance by measuring the intensity change of light transmitted through the sample. The instrument receives the transmitted light signal through the built-in Sensor, and displays the measurement result in digital form after processing.

Steps
1. Turn on the instrument power supply
2. Measuring location of the sample
3. Select Single or Continuous Measurement mode
4. Press the measurement button for measurement
5. Read the measurement results on the display screen
6. Computer output data can be connected via RS-232 data cable

The thickness of the measured object should be less than 10mm.
