Overview
ZUA2000.100 is a versatile adjustable wet Film Applicator in the ZUA 2000 series. The coating applicator has an adjustable gap height between 0 μm and 3,000 μm for preparing uniform films or coating layers with a maximum difference of 3000 μm on flat substrates. It is suitable for strong substrates such as Drawdown Vacuum Plates, Glass Plates, Test Panels or Test Drawings.

Principle
ZUA 2000 series coatings applicators prepare a film or coating on a flat substrate by adjusting the gap height in the range of 0 μm to 3,000 μm. Due to physical phenomena, the maximum wet film thickness will be slightly smaller than the marking scale of the coating applicator.

Steps
1. Adjust coating applicator gap height to desired film thickness
2. Spreader operation on a flat substrate
3. Remove the coating applicator for cleaning after use
