Overview
ZIBO YDN-2 Sports Viscosity Measurement Device complies with GB/T265 standard and is suitable for the determination of kinematic viscosity of plastic Resin and other products stipulated in GB1841 standard. The instrument measures the time of Newtonian liquid flowing through the calibrated Glass Capillary Viscometer under gravity. The whole process is carried out in a constant temperature water bath. Equipped with High Accuracy Timer, it is easy to operate and has high work efficiency.

Principle
The instrument determines the kinematic viscosity by measuring the time it takes for a Newtonian liquid to flow through the Calibrated Glass Capillary Viscometer under gravity. The test process is carried out in a well-thermostatic water bath, and the flow time of the liquid is recorded with a High Accuracy Timer to ensure the accuracy of the measurement results.
Applications
Newtonian liquid kinematic viscosity, plastic Resin viscosity
Standards
GB/T265、GB1841、SH/T0173-92、JJG155
Steps
1. Preparation of Samples and Calibrated Glass Capillary Viscometers
2. Set the thermostatic bath temperature to the desired test temperature
3. Load the sample into the Viscometer and place it in a thermostatic bath
4. Start Timer Record the time of liquid flow through capillary tubing
5. Calculate the kinematic viscosity value according to the measured time
Notice
• Make sure the instrument is well grounded before use
• Pay attention to high temperature parts during operation to avoid burns
• Keep Ambient Temperature at RT +~ 40 ℃, relative humidity < 85%
• Regularly calibrate instruments to ensure Measurement accuracy
• Use appropriate thermostatic media (water bath or oil bath) for different Temperature ranges
