The LEEB leeb251 platings thickness gauge is a Portable eddy Current thickness gauge with an integrated structure design. The instrument is compact and easy to operate. It is mainly used for the measurement of nonconductive insulating coating film thickness on nonmagnetic metal substrates. The measurement range can reach 0~ 1250 microns.

Principle
LEEB251 platings thickness gauge based on the principle of eddy Current, high-frequency electromagnetic field generated by Probe induced in the nonmagnetic metal substrate eddy current, thereby measuring the film thickness of the nonconductive insulating layer covering it.

Steps
1. Turn it on.
2. Place Probe vertically on the surface of the coating to be tested.
3. Read the Film thickness value displayed on the LCD screen.
Notice
• Make sure that the Probe is perpendicular to the coating surface during measurement.
• The diameter of the measurement surface should not be less than φ 10mm.
• Suitable for workpieces with a radius of curvature of convex surface ≥ 1.5mm and a radius of curvature of concave surface ≥ 20mm.
• Film thickness should not be less than 0.5mm.
• Please use in an environment with 0~ 40 ℃ and relative humidity 20~ 90% RH.
• Please use the specified 4 AAA 1.5V alkaline batteries.
