Overview
WSD-3U fluorescent whiteness meter is a precision Optical inspection measuring instrument of KANGGUANG brand, mainly used for the measurement of sample whiteness and various color parameters. The instrument adopts D65 Illuminant and 0/d illumination conditions, with high resolution and accuracy, suitable for non-contact measurement of various planar samples.
Features
Wide measurement range, up to 0~ 199.
2. High resolution, x, y values up to 0.0001, the remaining parameters are 0.01.
3. High measurement accuracy, whiteness (W) Indication Error ≤ 1.0.
4. Good stability, zero drift ≤ 0.1, indication drift ≤ 0.2.
5. Excellent sexual repeability, whiteness repeability Delta W ≤ 0.2.
6. Comprehensive function, can measure absolute value, color difference value and a variety of international whiteness value.
7. Easy to operate, equipped with LCD display, operating keyboard and printer interface.
Principle
The instrument works based on the principle of photoelectric integration. The built-in D65 Illuminant irradiates the sample at 0/d conditions (vertical irradiation/diffuse reflection reception), and the Optical inspection system receives the reflected light from the sample surface and converts it into an electrical signal through the Sensor. The internal processor of the instrument calculates the XYZ tristimulus values of the sample according to the mathematical model such as the CIE standard chroma system, and then derives various color parameters such as whiteness, chroma coordinates, and Lab values.
Applications
Paper, Spinning & weaving, Coatings, Plastics, Building Materials, Pottery and porcelain, Grain, Starch, Salt, Washing Powder
Standards
GB5950 whiteness Wj
Steps
1. Boot warm-up: connect the power supply and turn on the power switch.
2. Instrument zero adjustment: Place the black cylinder on the test bench, press the "zero adjustment" button, and then press the "execute" button to complete the zero adjustment.
3. Calibrate standard (whitening): Place the standard whiteboard on the test bench, press the "Standard" button, and then press the "Execute" button to complete the calibrating.
4. Sample measurement: Place the sample to be tested on the test bench, press the "Sample Test" button, and then press the "Execute" button for measurement.
5. View the results: After the measurement, press the "Display" button to view the measurement data.
6. Output result: Press the "Print" key to print data or communicate with the computer.
7. Reset: Press the "reset" button to return the instrument to the ready measurement sample state.
Notice
The instrument should be placed on a stable workbench to avoid vibration.
• Ambient Temperature should be maintained between 0-40 ℃.
• Preheat for a period of time before use to ensure Illuminant stability.
Standard whiteboards should be kept clean to avoid scratches and contamination.
• The tested sample should be flat, the diameter should be greater than 18mm, and the Film thickness should be less than 40mm.
• During measurement, ensure that the Optical inspection test head is in close contact with the sample surface without gaps.
When the instrument is not in use for a long time, the power supply should be disconnected.
• Non-professionals should not disassemble the instrument by themselves.
• Power frequency must meet the requirements of 220V +/- 10%, 50Hz.
