7. Support temperature unit switching (° C/° F) and automatic shutdown function.
Principle
The Infrared Thermometer works based on the principle of infrared radiation temperature measurement. All objects emit infrared radiation energy proportional to their temperature. The instrument receives the infrared radiation of the target object in the specific Response wavelength range (900~ 1700nm) through the Optical inspection system and focuses it on the detector. The detector converts the radiation energy into an electrical signal, which is processed and calculated by the internal circuit, and calibrates according to the set emissivity (adjustable from 0.10 to 1.00). Finally, the surface temperature value of the measured object is displayed on the display screen.
Applications
Industrial manufacturing, metallurgical casting, heat treatment, power equipment maintenance, scientific research and experiment

Steps
Install a 9V battery or connect an external power supply.
2. According to the surface material of the object to be measured, set the appropriate emissivity value (0.10 to 1.00) through the instrument.
3. Power on the instrument and select the desired temperature unit (° C or ° F).
4. Aim at the target to be measured through the laser sight.
5. Keep the measurement distance in line with the object distance ratio (80:1) requirements, press the measurement button to measure the temperature.
6. After the reading stabilizes, the current measurement can be recorded using the data lock function.
7. You can connect to the computer through the RS232 interface to export the stored measurement data.
Notice
* When measuring, ensure that the laser point is aimed at the surface of the measured object, and pay attention to maintain a safe distance.
* The emissivity setting of the measured object must be accurate, otherwise it will affect the accuracy of the measurement result.
* Avoid measurement of smooth or bright metal surfaces, which have low emissivity and are susceptible to environmental reflection.
The instrument lens needs to be kept clean to avoid dust and stains affecting the infrared reception.
Do not aim the laser directly at the human eye or observe the laser through the opticalin strument.
When not in use for a long time, please remove the battery to prevent leakage.
* This instrument measures the surface temperature of the object, and the internal temperature may be different.
