CHNSPEC CS-288 Spectroscopic color difference meter is a High Accuracy instrument that uses the principle of spectroscopy to measure Color color difference. It is widely used in the field of Color management in plastics, printing, paints inks, Spinning & weaving, printing and dyeing garments and other industries. It can measure the color values L * a * b, L * c * h of samples according to the CIE color space, and calculate the color difference with standard samples.

Principle
The CHNSPEC CS-288 spectroscopic color difference meter adopts the spectroscopic measurement principle. Its built-in CLEDs Illuminant provides full-band equalized illumination. After the rays of light are irradiated on the sample surface, the reflected light is split by the innovative SCS Optical inspection engine (single grating dual-path spectroscopic system) and received by the array Sensor, thereby obtaining the Light spectrum reflectance data of the sample in the 400~ 700nm Wavelength range. The instrument combines ETC real-time calibrating technology to ensure the stability of the reference, and uses automatic Gloss compensation technology to deal with the influence of different Gloss surfaces. Finally, various chromatic values and color difference values of the sample are calculated according to the CIE standard chroma system.

Steps
1. Turn it on and preheat the instrument (if necessary).
2. Before using the instrument, ensure that the measurement caliber is clean.
3. Select or set a standard sample.
4. Align the instrument measurement port with the sample to be tested to ensure a tight fit.
5. Trigger the measurement and wait about 2 seconds to complete the data collection.
6. Read the chromatic value of the sample (such as L * a * b, L * C * h) or the color difference value from the standard sample (such as Delta E * ab) on the display screen.
7, according to the needs of qualified judgment, view Color bias, generate test reports or Light spectrum map.
8, measurement data can be automatically stored and exported via USB or Bluetooth interface.

* Do not use the instrument in extreme environments (operating temperatures above 5 to 45 ° C, or relative humidity above 80%).
