Principle
The thermometer works based on the principle of infrared radiation. The 8-14 μm wavelength infrared energy emitted by the target object is received through the Sensor, converted into an electrical signal and displayed as a temperature value. Its 12:1 object distance ratio ensures accurate measurement of temperature in small target areas within a safe distance.

Steps
1. Install 2 AAA batteries and turn them on; 2. Select ° C or ° F temperature units; 3. Aim at the target measurement point through the laser; 4. Press the measurement button to obtain the temperature reading; 5. Use the data lock function to save the display value; 6. Adjust the emissivity setting as needed; 7. Use the back light function to assist the reading; 8. Automatically shut down when the device is idle to save energy.
