Overview
The SMART SENSOR AS8802 Combustible Gas detector is a Portable Gas detection device designed to detect the concentration of combustible gases in the environment, with a range of 0 to 100% LEL. The instrument features a small, lightweight LCD display, making it easy to carry and operate. It is suitable for a variety of applications where combustible gas leakage needs to be monitored.
Features
1. Portable design, dimensions of 66.35 * 95.8 * 52mm, weight is only 137.5g, easy to carry.
2. Adopting a segmented LCD display, the data display is clear and intuitive.
3. High detection accuracy, resolution up to 0.1% LEL.
4. Built-in rechargeable battery, nominal Operating Time is about 6 hours.
5. Strong environmental adaptability, can work stably in the temperature of -10~ 50 ℃ and the humidity range of 15~ 95% RH.
Principle
The detector detects the concentration of combustible gases in the environment air through built-in catalytic combustion or semiconductor sensors. When the gas reacts with the sensor, an electrical signal proportional to the gas concentration is generated, and the circuit inside the instrument processes the signal. Finally, the concentration value of combustible gases (in% LEL) is displayed digitally on the LCD display.
Applications
Petrochemicals, gas pipelines, warehousing and logistics, fire safety inspection, industrial production sites
Standards
The data did not mention specific compliance criteria
Steps
1. Before starting, check whether the Appearance of the instrument is in good condition to ensure that the air inlet of the Sensor is not blocked.
2. Press the power button for a long time to turn it on, and the instrument will perform self-test.
3. After the self-test is completed and the display screen shows a stable reading, the instrument can be placed in the test area for testing.
4. Observe the gas concentration reading on the display screen and judge the safety of the environment according to the preset alarm value.
5. After use, press the power button for a long time to shut down.
Notice
* Do not use or store the instrument in an environment exceeding the specified temperature (-10~ 50 ° C) and humidity (15~ 95% RH).
* Avoid strong impact or vibration of the instrument to prevent damage to internal Sensors and components.
* It is forbidden to start, shut down or replace batteries in environments containing high concentrations of flammable gases or explosive.
Periodically calibrate the instrument to ensure the accuracy of the test data.
When the battery is low, it should be charged in time, please use the designated charging device.
* The instrument is only used to detect the concentration of combustible gas and cannot be used as the only basis for safety judgment. Miscellaneous safety measures must be combined.
Do not disassemble or modify the instrument yourself.
