Overview
The SMART SENSOR AS8901 is an oxygen detector with both diffusion and pump sampling methods, designed to detect oxygen concentration in the environment. The instrument has a range of 0 to 30% vol, a resolution of 0.1%, and an intrinsic error of less than +/- 0.1%. It is suitable for a variety of working environments.
Features
1. Both diffusion and pump sampling methods are available to adapt to different detection scenarios.
2. High resolution and accuracy, resolution up to 0.1%, intrinsic error less than +/- 0.1%.
3. Equipped with sound and light alarm function, timely prompt abnormal concentration.
4. Powered by 3.7V lithium battery, the body is light and portable, and the weight is only 200 grams.
5. Strong environmental adaptability, stable operation at temperatures of -10~ 50 ° C and humidity of 15~ 95% RH.
Principle
The instrument detects the oxygen concentration in the environment through the built-in oxygen Sensor. In diffusion mode, the gas naturally diffuses into the Sensor; in pump suction mode, the built-in micro-pump actively extracts the gas sample to be measured for analysis. The Sensor converts the gas concentration into an electrical signal, displays the value after processing, and triggers an audible and visual alarm when the concentration exceeds the preset safe range.
Applications
Industrial safety, confined space operation, laboratory, storage environment, fire emergency

Steps
1. Press the power button for a long time to turn it on and wait for the instrument self-test to complete.
2. According to the detection requirements, choose the diffusion or pump sampling method.
3. Place the instrument in the test environment or use a sampling tube to extract gas samples.
4. Observe the real-time oxygen concentration reading on the display.
5. If the concentration exceeds the standard, the instrument will automatically issue a sound and light alarm, and safety measures need to be taken immediately.
6. After use, press the power button for a long time to shut down.
Notice
Do not use this instrument in an environment beyond the specified temperature and humidity range.
• Avoid severe impact or falling of the instrument.
• Periodically calibrated to ensure detection accuracy.
• When the battery is low, please charge it in time.
• When the instrument alarms, evacuate to a safe area immediately and identify the cause.
• Do not disassemble or modify the instrument yourself.
