Overview
The SMART SENSOR AS8902 Combustible Gas detector is a Portable Gas detection device with both diffusion and pump detection methods. It is mainly used to detect combustible gases (EX) with a range of 0 to 100% LEL. It is suitable for a variety of industrial environments and helps users quickly identify potential combustible gas leakage risks.
Features
1. Both diffusion and pump-suction detection modes are available to meet the needs of different detection scenarios.
2. Adopt sound and light dual alarm mode, the warning effect is obvious.
3. The fuselage is small and lightweight, weighing only 200 grams, easy to carry and operate.
4. Equipped with 3.7V lithium battery power supply, the battery life can meet the requirements of on-site use.
Principle
The detector detects the concentration of combustible gases in the surrounding environment through the built-in gas Sensor. In the diffusion mode, the gas naturally diffuses into the Sensor; in the pump suction mode, the built-in micro-pump actively extracts gas samples from the area to be tested for analysis. When the detected gas concentration reaches a preset alarm value, the instrument will trigger an audible and visual alarm.
Applications
Petrochemicals, gas pipelines, warehousing and logistics, fire emergency, environment monitoring
Standards
The product information does not mention specific compliance standards.
Steps
1. Before starting, check whether the Appearance of the instrument is in good condition and whether the battery power is sufficient.
2. Press the power button for a long time to turn it on, and wait for the instrument self-test to complete and enter a stable state.
3. According to the detection requirements, choose the diffusion or pump detection mode.
4. Place the instrument Probe in the test area and wait for the reading to stabilize.
5. Observe the gas concentration value on the display screen and pay attention to the sound and light alarm prompt.
6. After the test is completed, turn off the power of the instrument.
Notice
* Do not use under extreme conditions beyond the operating Ambient Temperature (-10~ 50 ° C) and Humidity (15~ 95% RH) range.
* Avoid strong impact or drop of the instrument to prevent damage to the internal Sensor.
Periodically calibrate the instrument to ensure the accuracy of the test data.
When the instrument issues a low battery alarm, it should be charged promptly.
This instrument is a safety aid and cannot replace the necessary safety operating procedures.
Do not disassemble or modify the instrument yourself.
