Overview
The SMART SENSOR AS8903 is a 2-in-1 Gas detector that uses diffusion and pump-suction detection methods to detect both carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) gases simultaneously. The instrument is compact and portable, and is suitable for a variety of work environments where toxic and harmful gases need to be monitored.
Features
1. Adopt a two-in-one design of diffusion and pump suction to adapt to different detection scenarios.
Can simultaneously detect carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) two gases.
3. Equipped with sound and light alarm functions to promptly alert to danger.
4. Powered by 3.7V lithium battery, with strong battery life.
5. Compact size, light weight, easy to carry.
Principle
The gas detector detects the concentration of carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulfide gas in the surrounding environment through the built-in gas Sensor. In diffusion mode, the gas naturally diffuses into the Sensor; in pump suction mode, the built-in micro-pump actively extracts the gas sample to be tested for analysis. After the detected concentration data is processed, if the preset safety threshold is exceeded, the instrument will trigger an audible and visual alarm.
Applications
Industrial safety, environment monitoring, emergency rescue, confined space operations

Steps
1. Before starting, check whether the Appearance of the instrument is in good condition and whether the power is sufficient.
2. Press the power button for a long time to turn it on and wait for the instrument self-test to complete.
3. According to the detection requirements, choose the diffusion or pump detection mode.
4. Place the instrument in the test environment or use a sampling tube to extract gas samples.
5. Observe the gas concentration reading on the display.
6. After the test is completed, turn off the power of the instrument.
Notice
• Do not use outside the operating Ambient Temperature (-10~ 50 ℃) and Humidity (15~ 95% RH) range.
• Avoid instrument from being strongly impacted or immersed in liquids.
• Regularly calibrate the instrument to ensure detection accuracy.
When the instrument issues an alarm, it should be evacuated to a safe area immediately.
• Please use the designated charger to charge the battery.
• When not in use for a long time, please store the instrument in a drying and cool place.
