Overview
The SMART SENSOR AS8904 Carbon Dioxide Detector is a Portable Gas detection device with a combination of diffusion and pump suction, designed to detect carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration in the environment. Its range is 350ppm to 999ppm, using the principle of Optical inspection Sensor, with triple alarm function of sound, light and vibration, suitable for a variety of working environments.
Features
1. Adopt two sampling methods of diffusion and pump suction to adapt to different detection scenarios.
2. Optical inspection Sensor principle, high detection accuracy.
3. With low alarm point and high alarm point setting function, the alarm value can be adjusted.
4. Supports sound, light, and vibration triple alarm methods, with significant warning effects.
5. Powered by 3.7V lithium battery, it is portable and weighs only 200g.
6. Strong environmental adaptability, can work stably at -10~ 50 ℃ temperature and 15~ 95% RH humidity.
Principle
The detector uses Optical inspection Sensor to detect carbon dioxide concentration. The Sensor is based on Optical inspection principles such as non-dispersion infrared (NDIR). When carbon dioxide gas in the environment enters the detection chamber, it will absorb infrared light of specific wavelengths. The concentration value of carbon dioxide can be calculated by measuring the change of light intensity. The instrument supports two sampling methods: diffusion natural intake and built-in pump active extraction.
Applications
Industrial safety, environment monitoring, agricultural planting, warehousing and logistics, building ventilating, laboratory

Steps
1. Press the power button for a long time to turn it on and wait for the device to self-test and warm up.
2. Select the diffusion or pump sampling mode as required.
3. Place the instrument Probe in the test environment and wait for the reading to stabilize.
4. Observe the real-time carbon dioxide concentration value (ppm) on the display.
5. If the concentration exceeds the set alarm value, the instrument will trigger sound, light and vibration alarms.
6. After use, press the power button for a long time to shut down.
Notice
* Do not use in environments exceeding the specified temperature (-10~ 50 ℃) and humidity (15~ 95% RH), so as not to affect the measurement accuracy or damage the instrument.
Avoid severe impact or falling of the instrument.
Periodically calibrated to ensure the accuracy of test data.
When the battery is low, please charge it promptly.
When the instrument alarms, please take appropriate safety measures immediately and evacuate to a safe area.
Do not disassemble or modify the instrument yourself.
