Overview
The SMART SENSOR AS8905 Sulphur Dioxide Detector is a Portable Gas detection device with a dual mode design of diffusion and pump suction, designed to detect the concentration of sulfur dioxide (SO2) gas in the environment. It has a range of 0~ 20ppm and a resolution of 1ppm. It is equipped with triple alarm functions of sound, light and vibration, and supports user-defined high and low alarm point settings. It is suitable for a variety of industrial and safety scenarios that require fast and accurate monitoring of sulfur dioxide leakage or concentration.
Features
1. Adopt diffusion and pump-suction dual-mode design to adapt to different testing requirements.
2. Sensor with electrochemistry principle, high detection accuracy.
3. Equipped with a triple alarm mode of sound, light and vibration, the warning effect is significant.
4. Support user-defined settings for high and low alarm points, with strong flexibility.
5. Portable design, easy to carry and operate on site.
Principle
Electrochemical sensor is used in this detector. When sulfur dioxide gas in the environment enters the Sensor by diffusion or pumping, a specific oxidation and reduction reaction occurs on the sensing Electrode, generating an electrical signal proportional to the gas concentration. The microprocessor inside the instrument amplifies, processes and calculates the signal, and finally displays the concentration value of sulfur dioxide in real time on the display screen. When the concentration exceeds the preset alarm threshold, the instrument will trigger sound, light and vibration alarms.
Applications
Chemical production, environment protection monitoring, oil and gas, sewage treatment, laboratory safety, metallurgical industry, warehousing and logistics, fire safety
Standards
The product information does not mention specific compliance standards.
Steps
1. Boot self-test: Press the power button for a long time to start the device, and wait for the instrument to complete the self-test and warm up.
2. Mode selection: According to the detection requirements, choose the diffusion or pump detection mode.
3. Alarm value setting: Enter the settings menu and set high and low alarm thresholds according to safety specifications.
4. Start detection: place the instrument in the test environment or use a sampling tube to extract the gas to be tested and observe the real-time concentration reading.
5. Alarm Response: When the concentration exceeds the standard to trigger the alarm, take corresponding safety measures according to the sound, light and vibration prompts.
6. Shutdown and maintenance: shut down after testing, and regularly calibrate and maintain the instrument.
Notice
Please read the instructions carefully before use to ensure correct operation.
* Avoid long-term use in environments with extreme temperatures, humidity or high concentrations of corrosive gases.
* Sensor calibrated regularly to ensure the accuracy of test data.
When calling the police, please evacuate to a safe area immediately and identify the cause.
Do not disassemble or modify the internal components of the instrument yourself.
* When not in use for a long time, please shut down and store properly in a drying environment.
