The JFL JFL-B206085 three-angle glossmeter is a general-purpose Portable gloss measurement instrument equipped with three Measurement Angles of 20 degrees, 60 degrees and 85 degrees, which can simultaneously measure high, medium and low Glossiness. It adopts a 16x48mm rectangular measurement window and is powered by a AA battery. It is suitable for field operation and no power field. It is widely used in surface gloss measurement of Coatings, paints, plastics, ceramics, Stone, paper, metals, etc.

Principle
The instrument calculates the Glossiness value by irradiating the sample surface with rays of light at specific angles (20 °, 60 °, 85 °) and measuring the intensity of the reflected light. Standard plates are used for calibration and calibrating to ensure measurement accuracy.

Steps
1. Turn on the instrument switch and press the button that needs to test the angle.
2. Calibration: Place the bright surface of the black Glass standard plate upward, align the center positioning mark of the instrument with the center of the groove, and adjust the knob to make the reading consistent with the nominal value of the standard plate
3. calibrated: measurement white ceramic plate, the display value should be within the nominal value +/- 1.2 Gloss unit
4. measurement: measurement of the measured sample with a calibrated instrument
5. Re-proofreading is required when changing different angles

The standard board should be kept clean to avoid measurement errors
• The instrument should be moisture-proof, avoid lens mildew, and prevent strong vibration and direct light
