JFL JFL-B60M Metal Surface Glossiness Detection Instrument is a detection instrument for the measurement of metal surface Glossiness with a projection angle of 60 degrees. Measurement range is 0~ 199.9 Gs. The instrument is manufactured in accordance with ISO-2813 standards, with High Accuracy and miniaturization. Principle
The glossmeter performs Optical inspection measurement on the measured surface by a projection angle of 60 degrees, and measures the surface Glossiness value by receiving mirror-reflected light. The Measuring Area is a 10 * 20mm elliptical shape.

Steps
1. Press the switch, place the instrument on the Black Glass Calibration plate, swirl/spin the adjustment knob so that the displayed value is the same as the nominal value of the standard plate
2. Place the instrument on the white ceramic standard plate, and check that the error between the displayed value and the nominal value of the standard plate should not be greater than +/- 1.2 Gloss unit
3. When the error exceeds, calibrate again according to the method of the first two steps
4. Measured values beyond 199.9 Gloss units for calibrated measurement samples show overflow "1"
Notice
• During the calibration process, if the error between the displayed value and the nominal value of the white ceramic standard plate is greater than +/- 1.2 Gloss unit, the standard plate should be considered dirty and other issues
• Measured values exceeding 199.9 Gloss units display overflow "1"
• Need to re-calibrate when the error exceeds the error
• Make sure the standard board is clean and pollution-free before use
