Overview
The JFL JFL-W Portable powder whiteness meter is a Portable measuring instrument that meets the international first-class whiteness meter standard. It adopts microchip control, is lightweight, easy to carry, and has accurate measurement. The instrument is mainly used for the measurement of the whiteness value of non-colored flat objects or powders. It can reflect the whiteness of objects treated by Fluorescent Whitening Agent and can measure the Opacity of paper.
Features
1. Controlled by a microchip processor, intelligent calibration.
2. Easy to carry, lightweight, one-handed operation, ready to open and measure, no preheating required.
3. LCD liquid crystal directly displays the whiteness value, low power consumption circuit, AC and DC dual-use, and the screen prompts that the power is insufficient.
4. The Illuminant used has a long lifespan of 100,000 hours.
5, accurate measurement, good repeatability, high accuracy and stable measurement.
Principle
The Working Principle of this product is based on the illumination condition 45/0 (45 degree ring illumination, 0 degree observation) and the R457 blue light whiteness formula, and the whiteness value of the Basis Weight is calculated by measuring the reflectance of the object to a specific wavelength of blue light.
Applications
Chemical building materials, Spinning & weaving printing and dyeing, paper Cardboard, plastic products, paints, white fur, white cement, Pottery and porcelain, enamel, porcelain clay, flour, salt, detergent, talc, starch, cosmetics and other objects whiteness measurement.
Standards
International first-class whiteness metering standard
Steps
1. Turn it on.
2. Align the instrument measurement hole with the surface or powder of the object to be measured.
3. Press the measurement button to read the whiteness value displayed on the LCD screen.
Notice
The instrument is suitable for the measurement of non-colored objects or powders with flat surfaces.
• Pay attention to the battery level, the screen will prompt that the battery is insufficient.
• Ensure that the measurement aperture (φ 22mm) completely covers the measured area.
• Keep it safe after use to avoid impact or contamination of the instrument.
