Overview
The Netherlands TQC VF2110/VF2111/VF2112/VF2113 double-channel Fineness Gauge is four Grindometers with different Measurement ranges. The measurement fineness ranges are 0~ 15μm, 0~ 25μm, 0~ 50μm, 0~ 100μm, and the measurement fineness accuracy is +/- 2 μm. The TQC double-channel Fineness Gauge is made of Swiss high-quality stainless steel with good corrosion resistance. The VF2110/VF2111/VF2112/VF2113 double-channel Fineness Gauge is a double-channel Fineness Gauge design.
Features
1. TQC double-channel Fineness Gauge drawdown blade is made of hardened stainless steel, with fine surface, smooth and easy maintenance, and can be operated by hand during use.
2. The double-channel fineness meter is a double groove with three different parameters: micron, Hegman, and North slope, which belongs to the graded slope design.
3. TQC Fineness Gauge drawdown blade can not only measure the fineness of paints, but also measure the fineness of many materials such as Coatings, pigments, raw materials, plastics, Printing inks, etc.
4. In the chocolate, ceramic, paper, food and other industries, TQC Fineness Gauge can also be used to detect the fineness of products, and there are more Applications.
Principle
In the process of fineness detection of pigment, it is necessary to grind the pigment into finer particles for dispersion in the fluid equipment. The physical properties of the final dispersion are usually called "fineness", which depends not only on the actual size of the individual particles, but also on the degree to which they are dispersed. Using pigment Fineness Gauge can quickly measure pigment fineness.
Applications
Paints, Coatings, pigments, raw materials, plastics, Printing inks, chocolate, ceramics, paper, food
Standards
ASTM D 1210、ASTM D 1316、JIS K 5600-2-5、ISO 1524、DIN EN 21524、BS 3900-C6
Steps
1 Wash the scraper and drawdown blade with the specified solvent, and dry with cotton yarn.
2. Mix the sample that meets the standard viscosity of the product well with a blender.
3 In the deepest part of the groove of the Grindometer, drop a few drops of the sample to fill the groove with a little excess.
4 Hold the drawdown blade with both thumbs, index fingers and middle fingers. Place it horizontally on the upper end of the Grindometer so that the drawdown blade is perpendicular to the surface of the Grindometer. At a suitable speed, pull the drawdown blade from the deep to the shallow part of the groove, so that the paint sample fills the groove and there is no excess paint left on the plate.
Immediately (not more than 5 seconds) pinch the fineness meter and tilt it horizontally, so that the line of sight is at an angle of 15-30 degrees to the plane of the trench to observe the scale value of the particles in the trench uniformly exposed to the light, and the reading value is the fineness of the measured sample.
Notice
• Reading should be done within 5 seconds after scraping
• When observing, the line of sight should be at an angle of 15-30 degrees to the groove plane
• The sample should be able to fill the groove with a little excess
• The drawdown blade should be perpendicular to the Grindometer surface
• Clean the scraper and drawdown blade with solvent and dry them before use
