Overview
Holland TQC VF2110/VF2111/VF2112/VF2113 double-channel Fineness Gauge is four different Measurement range of Grindometer, measurement fineness range of 0~ 15μm, 0~ 25μm, 0~ 50μm, 0~ 100μm, accuracy of +/- 2 microns. The product is made of Swiss high-quality stainless steel, good wear and corrosion performance, double groove design.
Features
1. The drawdown blade is made of hardened stainless steel, the surface is fine, smooth and easy to maintain, and can be operated by hand
2. Double groove design, with three parameters of micron, Hegman, and North slope, which belongs to the graded slope design
3. Can measure the fineness of paints, Coatings, pigments, raw materials, plastics, Printing inks and other materials
4. Suitable for fineness testing in chocolate, ceramics, paper, food and other industries
Principle
In the process of pigment fineness detection, pigment grinding is required to disperse into finer particles in the fluid equipment. The physical properties of the final dispersion are called "fineness", which depends on the actual size and degree of dispersion of the individual particles. Using pigment Fineness Gauge can quickly measure pigment fineness.
Applications
Paints, Coatings, pigments, raw materials, plastics, Printing inks, chocolate, ceramics, paper, food
Standards
ASTM D 1210、ASTM D 1316、JIS K 5600-2-5、ISO 1524、DIN EN 21524、BS 3900-C6
Steps
1. Wash the scraper and drawdown blade with the specified solvent and dry them with cotton yarn
2. Fully mix the sample that meets the standard viscosity of the product with a blender
3. Drop a few drops of the sample into the deepest part of the Grindometer groove to fill the groove with a little excess
4, double hand-held drawdown blade transverse on the upper end of the Grindometer, so that the drawdown blade perpendicular to the surface, at a suitable speed from the deep groove to the shallow pull
5. Immediately pinch the fineness meter and tilt it horizontally, so that the line of sight is at an angle of 15-30 degrees to the plane of the trench. Observe the scale value of the particles evenly exposed in the trench
Notice
• The reading should be completed within 5 seconds after scraping
• The drawdown blade should be perpendicular to the Grindometer surface
• The line of sight should be observed at a 15-30 degree angle to the groove plane
• The sample should be able to fill the groove without leaving excess paint on the plate
