The TQC AB4400 Automatic Film Applicator provides a reliable foundation for applying film to test jams, panels or foils in a uniform, repeatability manner, eliminating human-induced changes. The device comes standard with a perforated heating vacuum bed (230VAC) and supports a variety of Spreader tools to ensure uniform film thickness and sample repeatability.

Principle
Automatic Film Applicator stabilizes shear rate and applicator weight factors by controlling variables such as speed, pressure and draft direction to achieve uniform film. Spreader process on Vacuum chuck substrate using standard block film coating applicator or spiral rod film applicator combined with TripleI ® navigation tool settings.

Steps
1. Prepare to test cardboard, panel, or foil substrates
2. Set Spreader parameters (speed, temperature, etc.) through TripleI ® navigation tool
3. Select and install coating applicator (bar or drawdown blade)
4. Start Vacuum chuck fixed substrate
5. Execute the automatic film program
6. Record drying time (optional)
7. Remove the sample after finishing the film
Notice
• Ensure that the thickness of the substrate does not exceed the maximum limit (test cardboard 9mm, substrate 35mm)
• The length and diameter of the coating rod must be within the allowable range of the equipment (minimum length 345mm, maximum diameter φ 10mm)
• Check Vacuum chuck function before operation
• Set the temperature not to exceed the maximum limit of the heating bed (Ambient Temperature + 100 ° C)
• Clean Spreader after use
• Regularly update the software to ensure complete functionality
