Overview
TQC VF2378 Pencil hardness tester is a cost-effective paint film pencil hardness testing instrument produced in the Netherlands, providing 750g load weight, in line with GB/T6739-2006 and many other international standards, suitable for global paint film hardness testing.
Features
1, the use of European and American stainless steel integrated molding body, corrosion resistance and rust, no cover material process
2. With calibrated certificate to ensure test accuracy
3. Fully automated production and warehousing system, precision standardization of products
4, in line with Wolff Wilborn specifications, high experimental reproducibility, more accurate evaluation data
Principle
Apply a standard load of 750g to the tip of the pencil, perform a scratch test on the surface of the paint film, and evaluate the paint film Hardness according to the pencil Hardness level, in line with international test specifications.
Applications
Film hardness testing, Coating mass evaluation, Laboratory material testing
Standards
ISO 15184、ASTM D3363、JIS K-5600、ECCA-T4-1、BS 3900-E19、SNV 37113、SIS 184187、NEN 5350、MIL C 27 227
Steps
1. Select the test pencil with the corresponding Hardness level
2. Attach the pencil to the instrument and apply a 750g load
3, scratch test on the surface of the paint film
4. Evaluate the film Hardness grade according to scratch results
Notice
• Make sure to use the original matching pencil to ensure test accuracy
• Instruments should be stored in a drying environment to prevent corrosion
• Confirm that the load weight is set to 750g before testing
• Conduct experiments in accordance with relevant standard operating practices
