Overview
The B11-2 Magnetic Stirrer is a thermostatic Magnetic Stirrer of the SILE INTRUMENT brand. It uses a DC three-phase motor constant speed control for better stirring performance, especially at low speeds at 20 rpm. The device has a Rotation speed display function. For every 6 pulse signals forwarded by the motor, the display counts within 1 second to display the Rotation speed.
Features
1. Adopt DC three-phase motor constant speed control, better mixing performance, low speed can start operation at 20 rpm.
2. Rotation speed display function, real-time monitoring of stirring speed.
3. Max. stirring Capacity is 5L, stirring speed range is 0~ 1800rpm, suitable for a variety of experimental needs.
4. Heating power 600W, Temperature range 0~ 300 ℃, temperature control accuracy +/- 1 ℃, to ensure stable temperature.
5. The working plate is made of black-plated stainless steel, which is durable and easy to clean.
6. Safety protection The temperature is set to 380 ° C to provide overheating protection.
Principle
The Magnetic Stirrer is driven by a three-phase DC motor to generate a swirl/spin magnetic field, which causes the stirrer in the container to swirl/spin along with it to achieve solution stirring. The Rotation speed display is based on 6 pulse signals forwarded by the motor, and the display counts these pulses within 1 second to calculate and display the current Rotation speed.
Steps
1. Place the container containing the solution in the center of the workbench, and put an appropriate stirrer in the container (a cylindrical stirrer for a flat-bottomed container, a spherical stirrer for a spun chute).
2. Turn it on and run, and the switch is located on the left side of the fuselage.
3. Adjust the speed knob, the stirring Rotation speed should be gradually accelerated from slow to fast to avoid the stirrer escaping.
4. If the stirrer is not in the center of the container, you can turn it on and idle before shutting down, and the stirrer will automatically suck into the center.
Notice
• Containers must not be made of iron or magnetic materials.
• The bottom thickness of the container should not be greater than 10mm, and it should be smooth.
• Rotation speed needs to be accelerated gradually to avoid the agitator escaping if the acceleration is too fast.
• Make sure the stirrer is placed in the center of the container before use, and the position can be automatically adjusted by idling operation if necessary.
