Overview
LABO LB-CW16 Flute meter (also known as corrugator) is used for the measurement of Flat Crush Test and Vertical Compression Strength of corrugated base paper. During the test, after the sample is corrugated on the Flute meter, it is glued into single-sided corrugating with tape or sandwiched in the vertical pressure strength clip, and compressed on the compression tester to determine its strength.
Features
1. Monolithic microcomputer control
2. High Accuracy PID thermostatic controller
3. Digital display of actual temperature and set temperature
4. Safety protection device
5. With automatic memory, parameter setting and adjustment functions
6. Adopt precision gear transmission mechanism
Principle
The corrugated base paper sample is corrugated by a flute wheel heated to 175 ° C +/- 8 ° C, and then the corrugated sample is prepared as a test sample with a flat pressing comb or a vertical pressing clip. Finally, the compression test is carried out on the compression tester to read the maximum force value when the sample is crushed.
Standards
GB/T1061、ISO7263、TAPPI T809
Steps
1. Use the sampling equipment to cut the specimen with a length of (152.0 +/- 0.2) mm and a width of (12.7 +/- 0.1) mm, with the long side being longitudinal
2. Place the sample between two sticks of a Flute meter preheated to 175 ° C +/- 8 ° C for corrugation
3. Use flat pressing comb teeth or vertical pressing clips to prepare samples as required
4. Place the specimen in the center of the lower pressure plate of the compression tester
5. Start compression and read the maximum force value when the sample is crushed
6. Measure a total of 10 valid data, take the arithmetic average, accurate to 1N
Notice
• Power supply voltage should be AC220V +/- 22V 50Hz 0.5A
