Principle
The appropriate counterweight weight is installed on the swing arm, and the swing arm is hung in the starting position, then the locking block is closed, the locking screw is locked, the friction collar is sleeved at the rear of the piercing head, and the test gear is selected according to the weight of the counterweight, and then the sample to be tested is clamped between the upper and lower clamps, the locking screw is opened, the locking block is released, the pendulum is swung, the piercing head passes through the sample, and when the pendulum swings back, the pendulum is caught by hand, the pendulum is lifted, the locking block is put back in position, the locking screw is tightened, and the measurement value of the display screen is read. The measured values of longitudinal front and back, transverse front and back were arithmetically averaged, and the results were accurate to 0.1J if they were less than 12J, and accurate to 0.2J if they were greater than 12J.

Steps
1. Install the appropriate counterweight on the swing arm and hang the swing arm in the starting position
2. Close the locking block and lock the locking screws
3. Put the friction collar on the back of the piercing head
4. Select the test gear according to the weight of the counterweight
5. Clip the sample to be tested between the upper and lower splints
6. Open the locking screw and release the locking block
7. Swing immediately, and the piercing head passes through the sample
8. When the pendulum swings back, take the swing arm with your hand
9. Lift the pendulum, put it back in the locking block position, and tighten the locking screws.
10. Read the measured value of the display screen and prepare for the next test
Notice
• Select the appropriate counterweight weight, so that the measurement result is between 20% and 80% of the MAX Maximum, if it is higher or lower, it should be shifted (select the corresponding weight according to different gears)
• Power supply voltage: AC220V +/- 22V 50Hz 0.5A should be reliably grounded
