Overview
HC-220 eddy current Coating thickness gauge is an eddy current thickness gauge produced by HBO with N-type Probe. The instrument is a nonmagnetic thickness gauge, suitable for the measurement of nonconductive Coating thickness on nonmagnetic metal substrates. Measurement range is 0 to 1250 microns; it can also be used for the measurement of chrome plating on copper. Measurement range is 0 to 40 microns. The instrument uses a silver-white shell, the panel design is simple, the operation is convenient, and the measurement reading is displayed through the LCD screen.
Features

Principle
The HC-220 eddy current Coating thickness gauge uses the principle of eddy Current thickness measurement. When the Probe touches the surface of the coating to be tested, the high-frequency electromagnetic field generated by the instrument will induce eddy current in the nonmagnetic metal matrix. The intensity of eddy current is affected by the nonconductive Coating thickness of the substrate surface. By measuring eddy current changes, the instrument can calculate the thickness of the coating.
