Overview
LAC-J hardness gauge is a test stand designed by HBO brand for Shore Shore Durometer A, AO and C models. It is equipped with fixed load weight and adjustable horizontal table, which can greatly improve the measurement accuracy. This product is manufactured with reference to "JB/T6148-2017", "GBT531.1-2008/ISO7619-1:2004", "HG/T2489-2007" standards.
Features
1. Glass workbench is not easy to abrasion, rust-proof and smoother than metal platform for long-term use;
2. The level of the working platform is adjustable, and the hardness gauge is adjusted to the same level to improve the Test accuracy;
3. The weight is accurate.
Principle
The test stand ensures that the Shore Shore Durometer press pin is in full contact with the specimen under standard gravity through an adjustable horizontal table and a fixed load weight system for accurate Hardness measurement. During operation, the handle is depressed so that the hardness gauge touches the specimen under weighted gravity, and the Hardness value is obtained by reading within 1 second.
Applications
Shore Shore Durometer A, AO, C model matching test
Standards

Steps
1. Place the sample on a circular platform and release the star handle on the cross arm.
2. Adjust the height of the cross arm to the bottom surface of the Shore Shore Durometer, about 5mm away from the measured surface of the sample;
3. Tighten the star handle on the cross arm;
4. Press down the handle so that the Shore Shore Durometer can read within 1 second under the action of fixed weight gravity;
5. Test the average value about 5 times at different positions with a distance of at least 6mm from the measuring points to improve Precision.
Notice
• Ensure that the presser foot is in full contact with the sample during testing.
The reading should be completed within 1 second after the presser foot touches the specimen.
• To improve Precision, the average should be tested multiple times at different locations;
• Check the level of the workbench before use.
